Laptop and Manga Influence

Explore technology in fashion

Finally...my own, first ever laptop! Many grates to my dear father, for this wonderful gift. The model in question is the Sony Vaio CS VGN-CS36GJ, which I had been quite interested in for some time now.

A sleek and stylish laptop made for design with high performance, what you'll find under the hood are Intel Core 2 Duo P8700 2.53GHZ processors, 4GB DDR2 RAM, 320GB hard drive, and Nvidia GeForce 9300 GS GPU graphics, all being powered along on Window Vista Home Premium. With this kind of specifications, they're as much about being pretty as being functional.

Actually the reason I've become interested in this model is because once upon a time, there's a certain character in a certain manga that was using this model:

The Devil Commander from Hell

Even though it's only a kind of parody (Waio instead of Vaio), but still, it did get my interest stirred up to lurk around the internet for it.

We could only guess as to why Yuusuke Murata, the author of the manga Eyeshield 21, had chose the Vaio laptop out of the many brand and series the market had to offer to be used by the devilishly genius Hiruma Yoichi.

You could read the manga here.
